Paige has 35 years experience in public relations and issues management. At BellSouth, she successfully lobbied the Mississippi Public Service Commission regarding a key piece of telecommunications legislation. Paige secured support for the plan, which resulted in Mississippi having the best regulatory environment within the nine-state BellSouth region. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, she helped initiate BellSouth’s restoration plan, chairing information sessions with commissioners and elected officials and using her contacts to persuade a local cellular provider to set up strategic service locations until landline service could be restored. Her skill sets also include training and public speaking, and she is the former editor of the company newsletter.
