PATSY TOLLESON

Patsy provides consultation and strategic guidance on issues management challenges. Formerly BellSouth’s Director of External Affairs, Patsy served as company spokesperson and chief of staff for the BellSouth president (Mississippi). She managed the company’s philanthropic efforts, handled sponsorship negotiations and oversaw the advertising program. She organized the BellSouth Women’s Networking Alliance and coordinated such projects and activities as Junior Achievement events, reading fairs, juvenile diabetes, United Way, and the BellSouth Quality in the Classroom Initiative. After Hurricane Katrina, she had project oversight and worked with the Governor’s Office and State Department of Education to launch online education offerings to assist schools which had closed or been destroyed.
